Tyler King

About

Tyler king is a 6’2 Defensive Tackle and Nose Guard from Chandler, Arizona. He’s strong and agile with good footwork and mobility and powerful in the trenches. At 275 pounds, Tyler runs a 5.07 laser 40 yard dash. He’s been a varsity starter at Chandler High his sophomore year, before making a move to Saguaro High this past year where he also is a starter. He’s a 3-sport athlete also participating in Varsity wrestling and Track and Field. Tyler squats 500 lbs, benches 375 and has a 27-inch vertical jump. He made 6A Honorable Mention for Player of the Year.

On defense he had 17 tackles as a junior in 5 games, with 14 solo tackles and 3 assisted, with 2 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. On offense shored up the -Line as a Nose Guard.

He transferred last year to Saguaro High where he started on both sides of the ball as a junior. He was accepted into the International Baccalaureate program and received his IB certificate. He joined the Saguaro Robotics team as a CAD designer and is a national honor society member with a 3.97 GPA, 4.43 weighted GPA and a 22 ACT score.
