Football Recruiter/ Coach
Dwight Ford was a 5- Star Blue Chip Linebacker out of Cal Poly High in California where he was highly recruited by big time Division 1 programs including Nebraska, UCLA, and Oregon where he ultimately decided to go and play. Dwight was a 4-year letterman for the Oregon Ducks and was a primary starter at Linebacker his junior and senior seasons in 1981-1982. Dwight was aiming to play in the NFL, but his last game he had a knee injury. After finally recovering from injury he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Maulers in the USFL and later played for the Oakland Invaders. He would later become a successful coach for Chaminade College Prep for a number of years with great success where 5 of his former alumni all went on to play in the pro’s.
Dwight got his college degree in Sociology with a focus on community service and public affairs. Near the end of his college years, he worked for the state of Oregon counseling youth and teaching them valuable life skills. Coach Ford would go on to be a very successful businessman traveling the world while doing international sales, he would become his companies Vice President of Sales over his 30 plus year career.
Coach Ford is excited to share his sports knowledge from his playing and coaching days as well as his business acumen and life skills with his College Sports Prep clients to mentor and help them reach their full potential. He looks forward to sharing his knowledge with athletes and their families to help them navigate the challenges and opportunities of the recruitment process, ensuring that they ultimately make the best possible choice for their future.
