Nate Poppell football coach/recruiter
Nate Poppell was a star quarterback for Texas AM University in Kingsville, TX where he started at quarterback for three years in college. Nate led them to its first teen win season in over 20 years and graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Business and Sports Psychology, as well as with a number of school passing records.
After college he played professionally in Europe gaining international experience while further honing his skills. After Europe Nate began training and mentoring athletes while working for Quarterback Ranch in the Dallas Fort Worth area. QB Ranch, which is an elite skill development and leadership organization, Nate specialized in training quarterbacks and football athletes. He makes it a purpose to mentor them not only with athletic skill development, but in leadership training as well for athletes of all ages ensuring that they are well prepared for both sports and life.
Coach Poppell is a well rounded coach and athlete having previously served as a three sport varsity captain for baseball, football, and basketball while prepping for Spring High. He brings a distinguished background in athletics and leadership with a wealth of experience as coach and mentor and expertise in his role and over a decade of coaching and mentoring talented athletes to help prepare them for college and steer them to the next level.
